We have two different style bear hunts for spring/summer and fall. During the spring we travel the rivers to our established bear bait sights. We offer brown & black bear combos only, many of our baits have both species. We provide this as a combo hunt only over our baited hunts as means of predator management. The wise and old brown bear boars will likely never return to a bait if they come in and smell a hunter. They have much longer memories than black bears and by anecdotal evidence much smarter too. When the opportunity arises, we want to capitalize otherwise these older bears become much more difficult in the future to pursue.

The fall hunts are part of the hunting package for moose, sheep, or caribou. The grizzly tag is provided as part of the package for moose hunters, no trophy fees required. If we see a bear without cubs and meets the legal requirements, we’d like to see the bear tag filled. The bonus grizzly bear locking tag can be used on species of lesser value.
